Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage is a hands-on, goal-oriented treatment designed to relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve overall physical function. Unlike a traditional spa massage focused solely on relaxation, therapeutic massage targets specific concerns such as muscle tension, injuries, or chronic pain through purposeful soft-tissue manipulation.
Each session is fully tailored to your unique wants and needs. Whether you prefer deep tissue work, a Swedish (relaxation) approach, or something in between, we customize every treatment to what your body is asking for that day. Your therapist blends techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release to create a personalized plan that supports your comfort and goals.
Key Characteristics:
Goal-oriented: Designed to address a specific issue like chronic pain, muscle knots, limited mobility, or injury recovery.
Custom techniques: A combination of modalities is used based on what your body needs in the moment.
Focused treatment: Sessions often target problem areas such as the neck, back, hips, or shoulders.
Professional care: Provided by trained, Registered Massage Therapists in a therapeutic setting.
“Good” pressure: Some techniques may involve deeper pressure or mild discomfort as tension and restrictions are released.
Common Conditions It Helps With:
Chronic pain
Muscle tension or soreness
Stress and anxiety
Sports injuries
Headaches
Reduced mobility or poor circulation

Hot Stone Massage
A hot stone massage uses smooth, heated stones to relax muscles, melt away tension, and enhance overall relaxation. Warm stones are placed on key areas of the body and may also be used by the therapist to glide and knead tight muscles. The heat penetrates deeply, helping muscles loosen more quickly and boosting the effects of traditional massage.
Benefits:
Relieves muscle tension and stiffness
Promotes deep relaxation and reduces stress
Improves circulation
Supports flexibility and joint mobility
May help with chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and insomnia
Things to Know:
Hot stone massage isn’t ideal for everyone, including people who are pregnant or have certain medical conditions. Always communicate any discomfort or sensitivity so your therapist can adjust the temperature or pressure to keep you comfortable.

TMJ Treatments
TMJ massage is a therapeutic technique focused on relaxing the muscles around the jaw, neck, and head to relieve pain and improve movement associated with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. It involves both external massage of the jaw, neck, and shoulders, and can include intra-oral massage, where a therapist gently works the muscles inside the mouth with gloves. The goal is to release muscle tension, improve joint function, and decrease pain caused by issues like stress-related clenching, injury, or head and neck tension.
Key techniques and aspects:
Targeted muscle relief: The massage focuses on the muscles of the jaw, as well as the neck and shoulders, as tension in these areas can contribute to TMJ pain.
Intra-oral massage: A therapist may use gloves to access and massage the muscles from the inside of the mouth to release deeper tension.
Myofascial release: This technique targets the fascia, or connective tissue, to release restrictions and improve the health of the soft tissues.
Trigger point therapy: This method focuses on specific "knots" or tender points in the muscles to relieve pain.
Joint mobilization: Techniques are used to restore the natural movement of the jaw joint.
What to expect:
A session often begins with warming up the upper back, neck, and shoulders to help the jaw relax.
Techniques can vary from gentle and relaxing to more direct and firm, depending on the individual's symptoms and the specific techniques used.
The treatment is customized and the therapist will work with the patient's comfort level.

RAPID
RAPID Neurofascial Reset (RAPID NFR) is a movement-based manual therapy that reduces pain by targeting the central nervous system. Instead of simply relaxing muscles, it helps “reset” the body’s hypersensitive pain response using precise pressure and active client movement.
How It Helps:
RAPID NFR works to release tension in muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves, making it effective for both new and long-term pain—even pain caused by old injuries or scar tissue.
What to Expect:
Sessions begin with a short assessment, followed by treatment that combines targeted pressure with guided movement. No lotion is used, and clients typically remain clothed. You may also receive simple movement tips to support your results.
Common Conditions Treated:
Headaches and migraines
Back, shoulder, or knee pain
Whiplash
Carpal tunnel syndrome
Shin splints
Sciatica
Plantar fasciitis

Osteo
Osteopathy, or manual osteopathic therapy, is a holistic, hands-on treatment that focuses on improving how the whole body functions. Unlike regular massage, it works not only on muscles but also on joints, fascia, and even internal organs to restore balance, relieve pain, and improve mobility.
How It Works:
Osteopathic treatment may include gentle soft tissue work, joint mobilization, myofascial release, and visceral manipulation. The therapist looks at the body as an interconnected system, addressing underlying postural or mobility issues—not just the area where pain shows up.
Osteopathy can help with:
Back, neck, and shoulder pain
Headaches
Sciatica and nerve pain
Arthritis-related discomfort
Sports injuries
Muscle tension and spasms
